First European top drivers to use Winmax Brake Pads

01 May 2014 -

Winmax brake pads have been used since many years by top drivers in different Japanese motorsport competitions. Since a few months, Winmax is now also available on the European market and quite soon, the first European top drivers discovered and learned to appreciate the quality of the Winmax brake pads.

Portuguese top rally driver, José Pedro Fontes already used the Winmax brake pads in the first rallies of the Portuguese championship on his Subaru Gr. N and on the superb Porsche GT3. “The Winmax brake pads are really fantastic, they have a great grip and they also last long. On top of that, the pads stay in perfect shape, without wear”, says a happy Fontes.

In Spain as well, the Winmax brake pads are being well used. The Mitsubishi Evo 9 from Enrique Garcia Ojeda already drove some rallies with them and the pilot was more than satisfied. “Wow, the Winmax brake pads are really very good. It’s a pleasant surprise because they are not only very performing but also very price-competitive, compared to other top brake pads. The long lifecycle and the great grip are definitely two of the main advantages“, says ex-IRC champion Ojeda. “In short time, we will start with the Citroën DS3 R5 for Xevi Pons, and I’m convinced that the Winmax brake pads will help us to achieve great results in the Spanish championship”.
